DermaWaveTM "Ultrasound/Electrotherapy/No Needle Mesotherapy" (coming soon)*
Mesotherapy is now a popular treatment for reducing the appearance of cellulite. While the treatment is very successful, treatments involve a series of injections that may be painful or cause unsightly bruising.
A new treatment, called No-Needle Mesotherapy™, uses specially designed pulses of electrical energy and laser to relieve the congested tissue. The treatment is based on a new technique called Aquaphoresis™, which uses specialized electrical waveforms to help reactivate specific physiological processes in tissue that contribute to the formation of cellulite. These include microcirculation, lymph drainage and enhanced blood flow. Your doctor may also prescribe permeation enhanced topicals that also address cellulite and use these ingredients in combination with the Aquaphoresis process.
Each treatment session lasts about 30 minutes and you will need to complete a series of 8-10 sessions to achieve results. Typical benefits are seen after 5 or 6 visits although results obviously depend on the severity of the cellulite condition. Aquaphoresis is very patient friendly and no discomfort is felt during the treatment session. The parameters used in Aquaphoresis are adjustable to suit each patient and treatment intensity may be customized to eliminate any discomfort. After each session patients return to normal activity with no downtime. In the first part of the treatment series several visits are scheduled close together to enable the best chance of a successful result.
