Emilio Alarcon, M.D.

Dr. Alarcon attended AUC Medical School in St. Maarten. Subsequently, he attended the University of Miami School of Medicine where he completed his Internship in Internal Medicine, Residency in Anesthesiology, and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine.

Dr. Alarcon is a Diplomate, board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He holds a subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine also granted by the American Board of Anesthesiology. The American Board of Anesthesiology is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dr. Alarcon has experience in interventional procedures from simple to complex. He believes in balancing both interventional and conservative pain treatment methods in order to provide the most appropriate care for both acute and chronic pain syndromes.

Mary-Catherine Segota, Psy.D.

Dr. Segota obtained a masters and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University - Georgia School of Professional Psychology in Atlanta Georgia. She completed her Internship in Health Psychology at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Segota completed her Post-doctoral work conducting research investigating the effects of Cognitive Behavioral Group Therapy on the immune status, symptom profile, and cognitive functioning of individuals with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She has extensive experience working with individuals with various acute and chronic medical illnesses, as well as those with chronic pain syndromes. Dr. Segota is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Florida.
